The staff here were friendly and professional, and we loved the large double room which was perfect for our luggage.

The room was updated and neat, it had a mini-bar, central heating and a work desk. The breakfast was marvellous and I had a very nice stay overall.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Restaurante platja mar was 5 mins walk away. Even the Palma de Mallorca airport was not so far.

The location is perfect for a luxury, peaceful holiday in excellent quality and beautiful surroundings. The hotel exudes an atmosphere of days gone by whilst providing every modern luxury. The beach, despite being public, has an air of exclusivity. The gardens were superb, more aptly described as parklands than gardens. The view of the bay from our bedroom was one of the best sea views ever experienced. The breakfast buffet is extensive.

The restaurant and bars were not cheap but no worse than you would expect from a five star hotel

the rooms are not in style with the building and the unique place. (poor floors!)

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful reception and breathtaking sea view at Formentor, a Royal Hideaway Hotel. The professional staff made me feel welcome and the rooms with sea views were amazing, especially from the top floor. The two large swimming pools and magnificent gardens were a hit with my family, especially the young children. We enjoyed the delicious and varied buffet at the terrace restaurant, which had stunning sea views. The location is fantastic, with scenic walking tracks to uncrowded creeks in the Formentor Cape area. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.

This is not a 5 star hotel for many reasons.. (i.e. rooms are dated and small, no gym, we had problems with our shower which was never fixed and so on..) Hardly a 4 star but yet with 5 star prices!!

Very nice position,onthe coast and surrounded by dramatic scenery in amongst the mountainsd.Lovely beach setting and superb swimming.Excellent beach facilities and good bar and restaurant.

An elegant hotel in a beautiful location. Hotel itself very quiet and relaxed.

Unfortunately there was an annoying charge of 15 euros per day for a beach bed. Drinks a little expensive.

Its secluded position and lovely gardens and the proximity of the sea made for a relaxing time. the Staff were friendly and helpful and the food excellent. it was the last week of the season so rather quiet which suited us . Those looking for a lively family holiday would not be attracted here but there was enough to amuse our group Tennis, sailing and ponies. The bar and restaurant prices are high but it is rated 5 star so you expect that
